Is there a real Jason Bourne?

Los Angeles County prosecutors say the man likened to Jason Bourne, the fictional secret agent known for his daring getaways and high-tech gadgetry, will appear in court Monday on weapons charges.
Brian Alexik’s six weeks on the run ended Thursday when he was captured without a fight at a girlfriend’s downtown apartment.
Dubbed a real-life Bourne for his efforts to evade police by jumping down a fire escape from his loft overlooking the Federal Reserve Building in downtown L.A., Alexik, 34, must now faces charges of possession of an AK-47 assault rifle, manufacture of a short-barrel shotgun and possession of firearms by a felon.
He is being held in lieu of $1-million bail.

According to court documents, Alexik was previously convicted in 1996 in Middlesex County, New Jersey, of possession of narcotics and of theft by deception in 2001. During a search of Alexik’s loft, investigators discovered a weapons cache, $15,000 in counterfeit bills, the formula for a Molotov cocktail written on a wall and a mosaic of the Central Intelligence Agency seal on the floor.
After fleeing, Alexik tried to conceal his identity, sporting close-cropped hair dyed auburn and fingers coated with glue to avoid leaving fingerprints, police said.

Michael Chabons Pulitzer Prize-winner and the Cohen bros brass balls !!

I couldn't put this book down. I thought about them during the day, I would dream about the characters at night. I think the Cohen Bro's are doing these because its just the right thing to do. I love film makers that go against the the politically correct.

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay 

The tale of two boys who write comic books during the Golden Age of comic books in the 1940s. The two cousins invent a superhero named the Escapist who wages battle against a series of villains. Author Michael Chabon employs fact and fiction to make the story larger than life as his characters meet real life people such as Salvador Dali, Stan Lee, Orsen Wells, and Harry Houdini. Chabon's other novel Wonder Boys was turned into a film starring Michael Douglas. Scott Rudin is producing the film with Paramount.
